Hey Boo! My name is Maimouna which means Blessed or the Blessed One and I am the owner of Blessed African BooTique, but we’re not just an online boutique, we are also a brand, Blessed Boo. I was born and raised  in  Senegal, West Africa; however, Boston, MA has been my home since 1998.

It’s been a dream of mine to open an online boutique – Actually, I’ve been looking into this business venture for many years now, but I was too afraid to take a risk because some people would say “it’s hard starting a small business”, “what if you fail?”. Well, all of that is true, but I’ve decided to put my faith into God’s capable hands, so I launched my website in 2022 with a passion to create a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.

I had a strong desire to create a site where everyone could find their dream outfit – not just the perfect outfit, but also earrings, handbags, skincare products, candles, essential oils and more. Because everyone deserves to feel beautiful, and that is what I wanted to create.
